Scott McCormick is a professional actor and voice artist for over 20 years. Scott has directed and adapted nearly 60 audiobook titles for the Rockville based GraphicAudio, where he continues to work as a voice actor and narrator. His work in Comic Book Prose Audio have include such titles as It's Superman, Spider-Man: Kraven’s Last Hunt, The Avengers and Daredevil: Man Without Fear. His adaptation of Marvel's Superheroes: Secret Wars (2015) and Thanos: Death Sentence (2017) were both named one of Audiofile Magazine's Audio Books of the Year.
Currently he is the narrator and lead in G.S. Denning’s Warlock Holmes series and Simon R. Green's Ishmael Jones Mysteries. Other genera roles include Sir Apropos of Nothing in the series by Peter David, King John in The Forest Kingdom Saga and "Happy" Jack Palmer in The Ghost Finders series both by Simon R. Green, Bram Stoker in the Gideon Smith series by David Barnett and Swackhammer in the Clockwork Century series by Cherie Priest. He is also proud to have directed the audio adaptations R.S. Belcher's Golgotha: Six-Gun Tarot, Shotgun Arcana and Queen of the Swords.
His work in Westerns includes the Byrnes Family Ranch Series by Dusty Richards, which he narrated and played the lead Chet Byrnes.
Recently he narrated Guardians of the Galaxy: Collect Them All. His Comic Book voice roles include Ares, God of War, White-Eyes and The Demon, Etrigan (DC), Ben Grim, Arnim Zola, The High Evolutionary, Doctor Octopus and Groot (Marvel).
Scott has appeared on stages large and small around the DC Region, including Shakespeare Theatre, Studio Theater, Woolly Mammoth and Rorschach Theatre, where he has been a company member for over fifteen years.
He lives in Kensington, Maryland with his wife and too many action figures.
